FirstCry was founded in the year 2010 by Supam Maheshwari and Amitav Shah and is one of the largest websites of Asia selling baby products and toys. Initially started with just 400 brands and 55000 products, FirstCry has now expanded its range to 90000 products with more than 1200 brands inclusive of both Indian and International brands. FirstCry also started their offline stores in June 2011. Firstcry includes brands such as Pampers, Barbie, Disney, Fisher-Price, Mattel, Hot Wheels, Ben 10 and Farlin etc. FirstCry received funding of INR 25 Million from BrainBees Solutions and later it received a funding of INR 4 Million from SAIF Partners. In the year 2015, FirstCry received a fund from Valiant Capital Partners of INR 26 Million.
